JUMPSTAR SUCCESS

GET A TURBO START IN YOUR CAREER AND BUILD YOUR SUCCESSFUL FUTURE

While college informs you about the world of work, it doesn't train you on what awaits you coming out of the classroom.
With this pathway you will learn how to choose the right company, get noticed as a talent from the earliest days, and strategies to stay one step ahead of your colleagues, ensuring your professional success.

Let's address the elephant in the room right away.

In classes you don't get trained in what the real world of work is all about.
Rarely do schools, and all the less so do universities, give you the concrete tools to find yourself ready and prepared for what will happen once you enter the company at full speed.

You may have taken an orientation course where you got tips on how to look for jobs and connect with companies.

They have advised you to write your CV following the European standard or some other “certified” format. They told you that you should also add a cover letter.

And there you become an assembly line.

You look for a vacant position on job websites, put together the CV as per the procedure, attach the cover letter which you address to some kind or distinguished person hiding behind an anonymous e-mail info@.... , and send it off.

Email after email, CV after CV you find yourself spending days sending dozens of inquiries. Before long you can't even remember who you wrote to.

Baiting a few fish you hope will bite.

You end up exhausted, dejected, with no response or at best a few automated words notifying you that your CV has arrived and you'll hear from them.

But there are more efficient and easier ways to “get noticed” did you know that?

And this is just the first “monster” to face in the job search.

There are the interviews to get through. How will you have to present yourself? What questions will they ask you? What will you have to say and what would be better for you not to reveal?

Do you know what, of all questions, is the most important one they will ask you ?

There is one on which you will be able to base the success of the entire interview.

I'm sure you've already gone through these two stages, and maybe you've already been working for some time.

And how do you find yourself?
Were you prepared for what lay ahead?
Does your boss consider you?
Do colleagues treat you as one of the team?
Have you figured out the right dynamics, tricks, strategies to excel?

I have seen many boys and girls like you start out, full of will and talent, but soon left to their own devices.

Because companies are not able to train them in how to work in the company, they don't share information, they don't have the time, the methods and let's face it the skills to do it.

And this causes insecurity, discomfort, anger and frustration.

On the one hand, talented, ambitious young people who feel lost, not considered, not understood.

And on the other, companies full of expectations who do not understand how to get in touch with them, who “accuse” them of not knowing how to work and hide behind prejudices and surrendering phrases such as “young people are listless.”

This is a dynamic that has always been present in companies.

So much so that a name “Skill Mismatch” per definire has been coined to define the mismatch between workers’ skills upon entering the workforce and the actual demands of the labor market.

A challenge of which I too was a “victim” already 20 years ago !!!

I had recently finished university and had the opportunity to work in the Netherlands for the biggest project, at the time, of ENI.

A great start, but I would soon realize that I was very inexperienced.

I had no idea what the dynamics of a large company were, much less knew what it meant to be in a project of that magnitude.
Multicultural environment, relentless pace, project spread across 4 different countries with 4 different time zones.
A hothouse in constant turmoil.

The first few months I was in complete confusion, not really understanding anything, perhaps partly because the English I was “used to” was quite different from the babel of accents by which I was surrounded.

It was not going well, I was anxious, confused and my performance was a pain.

My probationary period was coming to an end and the signs were very negative, I didn't see a renewal, I didn't see a future there.

Already I could see myself packing to go back home to my parents, with that failure on my shoulders.

I was very nervous.

Until one day, after yet another 15-hour day at work, a colleague of mine took me aside and gave me a short speech that drastically changed the course of my professional life.

A few clear, direct, hard words from someone who had already been through the same situation and had come out a true winner.

Those words became a mantra for me.

They gave me a total new perspective that shifted my weight from my “student” way of thinking to the “work” world.

I had a revelation, which radically changed the trajectory of my professional future.

What happened that day opened my eyes, and made me realize that what I had learned, and thought I knew, after years of college was of no use to me, was zero if I did not learn how to use it effectively, in business.

I had to change my methodology, my approach, my mindset.
I had to change myself and start immediately.
And so I did.

From that moment on, a transformation began that allowed me to continue working in the project for another 4 years, getting three consecutive promotions and a managerial position in Kazakhstan with 12 resources to manage at only 26 years old.

But this was only the beginning.

The path was long and difficult. Nowhere was there a course, a book I could read that taught me a method.

I had to put together different pieces of courses, conversations with mentors and coaches, books, articles weaving together disciplines such as organization, sales, marketing, project management and leadership.

Over the years I have collected everything, tested it, kept what worked and put aside what was not needed

I did this for myself and for all the resources I managed, or who near me needed support, guidance, a method.

I thus developed:

HOW COACHING WITH ME WORKS

Step 1
Introductory call

Our first contact will be a call of about 25 minutes plus a brief survey. From the conversation, we will assess whether my approach can be helpful to you and whether we can work together to achieve your goals.

Step 2
Start of coaching sessions

Based on your needs, we will design a path together to get you the results you want. We will go deep into the key areas to improve or develop and making positive, ongoing changes.

Step 3

To get results we will have to work on some specific actions that, under my guidance, you will complete. At regular intervals we will do an alignment, to always best calibrate the actions to the results and act accordingly.

At this point you must be wondering, duly.
“How much coaching will I need ? ”

The number of coaching sessions will depend on your goals, on how quickly you can achieve them.
